What is Bridging the Digital Divide?

Bridging the Digital Divide is a free, community-based after-school technology programme for young people aged 13–23 in Kirkcaldy, Fife.

The programme offers six specialist learning tracks covering coding, cybersecurity, and software testing skills that lead directly to well-paid, in-demand careers. No prior experience is required, and no equipment is needed: we provide laptops.

Over 69 weeks and approximately 1,090 pages of curriculum, participants move from complete beginner to job-ready completely free of charge.

👥

Who Runs It?

The programme is run by The Redeemed Christian Church of God Open Heavens Fife, a registered Scottish charity (SC040702) based in Kirkcaldy. The church has served the local community for years, offering pastoral support, youth activities, and community outreach.
